COCKTAIL RECIPES

Our spirits are not only great for sipping neat, but they also make wonderful cocktails. Up North Distillery's Honey Spirits have been called the jack of all trades, fitting into almost every cocktail imaginable. Here are just a few of our fan-favorite cocktail recipes crafted by our in-house Mixologists.

Applejack Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Barrel Aged Apple Brandy

  • .5 oz cinnamon simple syrup

  • 2 dashes walnut bitters

  • 2 dashes angostura bitters

  • range peel/cherry

Directions: Stir in a mixing glass with cubed ice. Strain into a rocks glass over a king cube. 

 

Garnish with orange peel and cherry.

Cranberry Mule

  • 1.5 oz Honey Spirits

  • .5 oz lime juice

  • 2 oz cranberry juice

  • ginger beer

Directions: Add Honey Spirits and cranberry juice to a mule cup with cubed ice, stir and top with ginger beer.

​

Garnish with cranberries.

Apple Pie Mimosa

  • 1.5 oz Big Kid Cider

  • Chilled sparkling wine

​

Directions: Drizzle caramel inside the glass, sprinkle in some cinnamon sugar. Add Big Kid Cider and stir. Top with chilled sparkling wine.

​

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and cranberries.

Up North Sangria

  • 1 oz Apple Brandy

  • 1 oz Big Kid Cider

  • 1 oz Red Wine

  • Sliced Fruit/Berries

  • Club Soda

​

Directions: In a large wine glass, add Brandy, Big Kid Cider and sliced seasonal fruit or berries, stir with cubed ice, top with club soda.

​

Garnish with extra fruit.

Idaho Buck

  • 2 oz Barrel Finished Honey Spirits 

  • 1/2 oz Strawberry Jam 

  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice 

  • 2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters

  • Ginger Ale

Directions:  Add all ingredients except ginger beer to a mixing glass with cubed ice, stir well and strain into a tall glass over fresh cubed ice. Top with ginger beer.

​

Garnish with a lemon peel or sliced strawberries.

Up North Distillery Craft Cocktail

Pine Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz North Idaho Single Malt Whiskey

  • 1/2 oz Up North Pine Liqueur

  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

​

Directions: In a mixing glass add whiskey, pine liqueur, bitters  and cubed ice, stir well and strain into a rocks glass over a king cube.

​

Garnish with a Luxardo cherry and an orange peel.
